Incredible Agent just launched a new web service that allows anyone to bookmark homes that they find online called HomeHugg. Much like its counterpart, Del.icio.us it allows you to access your favorite homes/links from your home or office easily. It melds that usability with a Digg-style scoring system where other users can “hugg” a home that they find on the site.
HomeHugg is very much a consumer tool, useful for house hunters who are used to surfing the web. In their own words:
HomeHugg is a community of Home Buyers, Realtors and Lenders that help each other discover, save and share their favorite homes for sale or rent in their community. The members of HomeHugg are able to add homes, comment on homes, map their favorites and share them with their family and friends
What I like:
- Easy registration
- Knockout marketing tactics for Valentine’s Day (very nicely done)
- HomeHugg Buttons:

What I’d like to see change:
- Make the “hugg a home” button more visible/prominent
- Create a tool for Firefox and Internet Explorer so that I can just highlight an address with a click of the button (make it super easy to use – like the Del.icio.us tools)
- Maybe it’s because I’m a guy, but there’s just to much lovin’ going on with all the hearts and stuff. Sorry, I know…
- It would make more sense to me if I automatically went to my own page after registration (again, like Del.icio.us) so that I felt like I owned it more.

By the way, sorry for all the hearts and stuff. I had to run with it. I hope it doesn’t make you feel less manly.
No, I’ll be able to maintain my manly dignity as I use HomeHugg – though it does offend my testosterone-fueled sensitivities…
